In the 2008 I have a few immediate goals:
1) Finalize the 6-chennals version of Super Melquiades and integrate it with Macondo
2) Finalize the “End of Life" Phonostage:
3)  ...
Why do you think the improved sonics were related to the residual noise or more precisely the hypothetical delta of noise components from one day to the next? You were very non specific about what was better and to what d...
Are you
kidding? What is the purpose for any of us audiophile spending thousands
of dollars for dedicated AC circuits, for clean power through AC
regeneration? It is to have improve the quality of the sound - be

Actually, Beav, there is something different in your case. I think what you do it wrong. If you are a reviewer and you are in possess of writing a review about the PP2000 then I would advise you do not search online what others say but subj...

I am a very happy owner of the PurePower 1050 that I bought from Canada 5 years ago.The 1050 works miracles on my system.I do have doubts about service from Canada should my unit fail, due to many posts I have read on the internet. Will they even serv...
Well, the StormTank is currently is being sold for $30K.
Oh well, I can forget about buying one to try it out...
The PurePower has a bank of caps that shunt the battery. Intellectually, it

Since I go the new version of PP2000 two weeks back I was operating under presumption that they will be sonically similar tothe PP2000 that I have had. I did not invest time or efforts to confirm this presumption partially because at that time I was ...

First of all this post is NOT related to the recent PP2000 problems but it has a border, general view.
The recent LX’s posts made me to think about the PP2000 buttery. He reports that his buttery got way weaken from 2009. I used my older PP200...

It is worth making the point that new technology such as Lithium iron phosphate batteries has changed the game when it comes to running digital. These things have no memory, do not suffer from staying charged, and have really very acceptable energy d...

Is anyone using their Purepower unit with Power amps? If yes, what load? I hear loud buzzing when I plug in my tube amps - each uses about 30% load on the PP. AM wondering if this is an issue with my amps power supply or the PP or my mains voltage.Th...

I have to echo Paul's sentiments. All I have heard about the hum issue in my PurePower unit is that "we are working on that" but nothing concrete or any explanations given...It would be great to hear something about it.Adrian...

If PurePower successfully reconfigures the PP2000, which looks possible although not certain, 2010 should be categorized as a great year. Else, you made some good forward progress and need to do a deep power dive. As this system will be evolving into...

I really would like to hear from someone who has experience with PurePower and Isotek EVO3 Super Titan + EVO3 Genesis. But I guess that would not be a easy catch. :)...
PP does inject very positive qualities to sound and it is in part might
be because it addresses some of intricate electric problems but we, or at least
I, do not know it with certainly. The claims that PP manufacturers ma...

Do not buy from this company. They took my money with no intention to ever deliver a unit to me. If you find a unit on the shelf in a store and it is functioning, buy that unit and take it home. Don't give Purepower your money up front. You will just...
The real issue is that there is no reliable repair center where statistics could be gathered on the various problems and their resolution. Romy at least can send his units back if a problem develops and PP will actually try to...
We routinely operate our 230 volt models with two phase +/- 120 volt input.
That's interesting. I use a couple of 5KVA balanced transformers. I tried to feed my 240V PP2000 with one of them, but the output was non-symm...

It looks like PurePower is selling big their new Canadian-made unit. I wonder if any rumors about the performance of new units compare to the older units. I did not spend any time to look online but I wonder if anybody manages to get it and might rep...
Simply beyond any criticism. The Purepower bass was something that sold me on the very first unit in June 2007. The very first Purepower 1050 had the same type of bass. What kind bass? Well, if juts did not “improve” it and...

And just in case some of you question my AC wiring, I have a separate panel with dedicated 20-amp circuits, all 'in-phase'. In fact, I put even put in a 30-amp dedicated circuit just in preparation for use by PurePower+ 3000....
As some here may remember, I purchased a number of years ago, before the debacle and attempted coup at PurePower, a nice Pure Power 2000. It always suffered from a slight buzzing when plugged in, which I feel was due an internal g...

Romy Do you plan on trying the new PurePower Plus and if so when? Maybe they should send you a loaner to try for a decade or so. ...

Thanks for the reply RomyI will take what you've posted back to Purepower/Wyred. Excure my ignorance, but are you saying the manner in which the Wyred's draw power might, in higher volume listening scenarios, exceed the capacity of the 2000? Or by dr...

Mani, I did find it was strange that you were getting from insulation transformer better result then from PP2000. They are very different devises with very different results. The difference is like to play a CD from an audio output of a consumer $50 ...

Yes, Robert. I do have/had different isolation transformers, industrial and specialized - they do not work. I mean they do help and in some cases they help a lot but they have very instable and irregular results. Upon the specific problems that the m...

Anyone who has questions about the operation of PurePower models should not waste time and space posting here about it. Just simply call over to the APS company and talk with the technical support staff who are quite nice and can answer all your ques...

"or APS relented to finally diagnose and repair your unit"As a sidebar to my repair problems I must note that I did not have to pressure PurePower to repair my unit. They responded to the matter in a timely fashion. They arranged for UPS to pick up...

dont know if the posters comment was meant to sound negitave or positive about this thread and you. myself and countless others who use PP2000 because its performance and clean power is what our hifi systems love. PP2000 is delivering the power and t...

Hi Max,If you have buzzing that is audible outside the PurePower case, or audible from a listening position, the behavior is not normal. The probable source is a capacitor. Caps can hum in the same way as transformers - the foil expands and contracts...
